go-ahead for full body scanners
This initiative is expected to increase interest in the use of Terahertz technologies - not only for security applications but also for medical, non-destructive testing and inspection applications. Each year the Electronics Knowledge Transfer Network holds a conference covering this exciting sector to highlight the latest developments - from both companies and universities. The aim is to give an overview of both the industrial and academic activities suitable for both the expert and the novice. Key aspects of the conference are networking and informality to ensure the event allows delegates to make new contacts, gain an understanding of the latest developments and market applications and to maximise knowledge transfer. As well as the verbal presentations there will be poster presentations and an exhibition of Terahertz equipment.
